Watlington Community Primary School
Remembrance Day Assembly
We welcomed the community and our friends and family to join us as we remembered those who sacrificed for our freedom.
Mrs Chapman and Mrs Asif talked about why Poppies are an important symbol of remembrance. We all sang Jerusalem before the Last Post was played and we held our 2 minutes silence at 11am. This was followed by Arthur, Mrs Asif and Mr Parker laying the wreaths.
Many thanks to those involved in organising our assembly and those who joined us. More photos can be found in the gallery.
